World BASC Organization’s Board of Directors appointed Manuel Echeverria Castro to the position of Executive Director of the World BASC organization Headquarters in Miami, Florida, at a time when BASC is committed to a consolidation and growth strategy based on trust and compliance.
Manuel Echeverria has a Business Administration degree in Engineering with an MBA in International Trade and Business Management, as well as other studies with more than 20 years of experience working for international trade organizations, in the U.S., Latin America and Europe. His work has been mainly dedicated to building public and private sector relations and cooperation as he worked for CORPEI, Ecuador’s Export and Investments Promotion Corporation, as well as different positions in the Ecuadorian Embassies and Commercial and trade promotion offices in Madrid, São Paulo, and Miami, where he recently served as Director of the Miami office of ProEcuador.
“It is with great honor that I accept this new opportunity and I am committed to working with the World BASC Organization. With the support of the WBO staff here in Miami and chapter offices in 11 countries in the Americas, we will make progress on the organization's policies, processes and services dedicated to our stakeholders and member companies”, said Echeverria, upon completing his first days at the WBO. Therefore, we will continue to work with the different authorities, industry leaders and other stakeholders to promote a greater trade environment based on trust. ¨
World BASC Organization welcomes Mr. Echeverria in his new position where he will count on the support of the WBO Administrative Staff and chapters members.
