BASC participated in the third Annual Conference of the Americas held by the Florida Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association (FCBF), in Miami from November 12-14th, 2018. The conference brought together key logistic leaders, mainly engaged in the import, export and transport of goods as well Control Authorities from the U.S and other countries.
World BASC Organization is an active member of the FCBF Security Committee and made part of the Organizing Committee of this event leading the Panel dedicated to the Creation of Policies and Strategies for the success and implementation of the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) program in the U.S and the Americas, by sharing BASC’s experience as part of its mission in the facilitation of a Secure International Trade.
WBO invited key executives of logistics and trade as well as officials in charge of the management of the AEO program in the U.S and Latin America. Among them where, Lisseth Zetino, Customs and Tax Administration from Guatemala, Brandie A. Tardie, C-TPAT Supply Chain Specialist – CBP Miami Office, Carmen Perez, Trade Compliance Branch – CBP Washington D.C. Office , Ray Fernandez, vice-president Sealock Security Systems and Suzanne Lemaitre, director of Compliance and Administration of World BASC Organization.
